IntelliType, IntelliPoint software won't install or uninstall
I am running Vista Ultimate (32-bit). I have uninstalled and reinstalled IntelliType Pro 6.1 & IntelliPoint 6.1 several times to no avail. During installation, an error is tossed saying that a USB Browser Mouse was unable to be installed; it encountered an error, no more info is given, this happens every time.

I guess we should be thankful for IntelliPoint 6.2 is still available for my mouse (Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 -- Vista x86 & x64). Both installed with not problems.

When I try to install it again, Vista says it's already installed and I'll have to uninstall it before I can install it again. (The most recent Intellimouse drivers / software, and to a lesser extent the Intellitype drivers / software, have been DISMAL. If it's Vista it's all the more important to be sure about those video / mouse / keyboard drivers. Not to mention being sure that your other software is running okay on the OS, too.
